A portrait of my cousin.
When a musician plays music, he will experience many emotional upsurges throughout a particular song. In this painting, I tried to capture the highest upsurge of the song, hence the name of this painting, "The Climax". The title of this piece is further emphasized through the passionate posture of a man drunk from his music, and not to mention all the stains and splatters in the background...which symbolized the explosive ecstasy between this young musician and his music.
